The budget series phone of Realme is here, the latest Realme C53. It should be named Realme C108 because the main highlight here is the 108MP camera sensor in a budget smartphone. Today, we will review this phone and let’s figure out what other features has Realme packed apart from the camera.
Realme C53 Review
Realme C53 Unboxing
Here it has a sim tray tool and some documentation and a case. It’s good to see that it has a case for a budget phone. Then it has a USB-A to USB-C cable and finally, an 18W charger. And the Realme C53 itself.
Realme C53 Design
The design is quite shiny. You get a slightly different type of gold pattern. Above, you get a lot of reflective material. It’s all plastic built. On the right side, it has an integrated fingerprint scanner with a power lock. Above it, there is a volume rocker. There is a very clean layout on the top. On the left side, there is a SIM tray where you can insert a dual SIM card along with a dedicated slot. Realme says that you can insert a memory card up to 2TB. Below it has a headphone jack, a primary microphone, a USB-C port and a speaker grill. You get a triple camera setup here.Â
Realme C53 Camera
There are only two cameras here because one has a flash inside. The primary camera is the main highlight because it comes with Samsung’s HM6 sensor which is of 108MP. Then it has a 2MP black and white camera. It has a 108MP camera in this price range and is really a unique point. This is what realme has brought in this phone.
Realme C53 Display
This phone comes with a 6.74-inch 720p display. It has a 90Hz refresh rate. The notch here has an 8MP selfie camera. And you get a flat screen. There’s a TicTac chin at the bottom which is in this budget range as obvious.
Realme C53 Performance
We get a Unisoc T612 processor. The AnTuTu score is in the range of 2-2.25 lakhs. So you’ll be able to expect the same kind of performance in this phone in the budget range. There’s an interesting option here for RAM & Storage. Because there are two different variants. I’ve never seen such a combination in any other phone. Because here it has 4GB RAM & 128GB storage. Or 6GB RAM & 64GB storage.
So on one side there’s more RAM & on the other side there’s more storage. So you can choose & pick. If you want more RAM but you want to run it in 64GB. Or if you want 128GB storage then you’ll have to run RAM in 4GB. It has a 5000mAh battery and it supports 18W charging.
Realme C53 OS
The phone works on Android 13. But the realme UI version has T Edition written at the bottom. So I suspect that this T Edition means that you get some basic features here. It’s not really the same realme UI which we get in other realme phones. Apart from that if we talk about the normal usage point of view. The phone feels kind of snappy. Meaning you don’t feel much lag which is a good. You can play some games like Temple Run or play some games on low graphics. Apart from that there’s no problem in normal video playback or general usage.
Realme C53 Price
The price of realme C53 4GB RAM 128GB storage variant is Rs.9999.
The price of 6GB RAM 64GB storage variant is Rs.10999.
Conclusion
Realme C53 has some unique features here. Do you remember Realme’s mini capsule? Which we saw earlier in realme C55 and narzo N55. So there’s a mini capsule here too. But because it’s a punch hole. So it acts in a different way basically. Overall the phone has good features in a budget-friendly amount. So you can definitely go for it.
